Warmest greetings, dear friend,
As the leaves turn their golden hues and the autumn air grows crisp, I hope this newsletter finds you in good health, wrapped in the cosy embrace of the season.
We had quite the bluster here recently—two storms in quick succession that sent the winds howling as if they were trying to whisk our house away! Amid the storm, I sought refuge under Mum's duvet, a perfect hideaway where the gusts couldn't find me!
My apologies for the silence that has stretched since my last newsletter. Our home has been a whirlwind of activity, barely less chaotic than the storms outside. Mum and I are in the throes of preparing my next book, which has consumed much of our time and energy, leaving us chasing deadlines like cats after a laser pointer.
I owe a gentle paw of apology to my patient friends—Charlie, Munch, Scribbles (Maggie), Daisy (SqueakynBB), Tomy, Biscuit, Holly, and Misty (who, albeit storyless, inspired me one through her very essence). Your narratives are ready to be published, and I expect the book to be available around the 1st of December.
To offer a token of my gratitude for your patience and to tease the anticipation a little more, I will be showcasing your stories on my blog each Sunday until then. Let us begin with two tales: Story of Sweet Scribble (Maggie’s sister) and Charlie’s Story.
Next week, I will share a sneak peek into the first chapter of my upcoming book.
Until then, stay safe and may the autumn breezes bring you joy and inspiration.
Your loving writer,
Freddy

No need to apologise! Looking forward to getting the book when it’s published. So nice for you to post Charlie’s story again. Thank you, Debbie x
